Medical Library Tour: Tulsa

At the circulation desk, patrons can:

• Get research help from library staff.
• Check out items (books, headphones, phone chargers, whiteboard markers, etc).
• Check out books using the medical library self-checkout app OSUMedLib on a mobile phone or tablet. 
• Pick up books on the hold shelf.

Eight group study rooms are available. Seven study rooms seat 6 people each and one conference room seats 14 people.  Each room has presentation equipment (a computer & large TV monitor), whiteboards, and a skeleton model. Two rooms include an OMT table.

In addition to open seating, 156 individual study carrels are available in the Medical Library.

Search the library catalog for books. If you need a book the library does not own, request it through interlibrary loan.

Four computers and a printer are available. The OSU-CHS IT Help Desk is located in the library for easy assistance.

Printers available in the library include:

Models are available for observation. Included are skulls, bone boxes, brains, & other anatomy models. Ask library staff to access models.
